Preheat the frying oil in a pot or tabletop fryer to 350 degrees F.
Peel and devein shrimp leaving the tail on and set aside.
Whisk together wet ingredients in a bowl then pour dry ingredients into a separate bowl. Once the oil is hot dredge the shrimp in the dry flour mixture then the wet mixture and back into the dry. Shake off any excess flour then fry for 4-5 minutes until shrimp begin to float.
Once the shrimp are fully cooked scoop the shrimp out and place them on paper towels to absorb any excess grease. Serve with dipping sauce of choice.
